Welcome Message from the Organising Chairpersons

Dear friends and colleagues,

On behalf of the Organising Committee, we warmly welcome you to join the 2ⁿᵈ Regional Airway Meeting (RAM) on 25 – 27 September 2026 in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia, which is jointly organised by the Malaysian Society of Neuroanaesthesiology and Neurocritical Care (MSNACC), the Difficult Airway Society (DAS), UK, and Persatuan Akademik Kakitangan Anestesiologi Sabah (PERAKAS).

Last year's RAM 2024 was a landmark event that brought together a vibrant community of 425 attendees from 11 countries, including clinicians, educators, researchers, and industry leaders in airway management. We successfully hosted 21 scientific sessions covering the latest updates and guidelines from DAS, innovations in airway management, simulation, and engaging discussions led by 51 outstanding speakers and session chairs. We also ran four pre- and in-conference workshops, supported by 30 dedicated sponsors and exhibitors.

This year's programme is even more ambitious, with deeper dives into the latest research, expanded opportunities for hands-on experience, and a renewed focus on multidisciplinary collaboration. You will encounter familiar and new faces, local and global perspectives, and voices that will challenge us to think more broadly and embrace innovation with confidence. Whether you are an experienced consultant, a trainee finding your voice, or an educator shaping the next generation, RAM 2026 offers a space to learn, connect, and lead.

Beyond the lectures and workshops, we place strong emphasis on community—fostering relationships that strengthen clinical collaboration and support professional growth. Our engaging social programme offers opportunities to unwind, build networks, and celebrate the shared passion that unites us.

We look forward to seeing you at RAM 2026.
Thank you for your support and participation.
