Dear Friends and Colleagues
It is with great enthusiasm and excitement that I welcome you to the Regional Airway Meeting 2024.
This is the inaugural meeting that is jointly organized by Persatuan Kakitangan Anestsiologi Hospital Umum Sarawak (PEKA-HUS), Malaysian Society of Neuroanesthesiology and Neurocritical Care (MSNACC), Difficult Airway Society (United Kingdom) and the Singapore Society of Anaesthesiologists (SSA), and Special Interest Group in Difficult Airway Management, Malaysia, and will take place on 27-29 September 2024 at Sarawak, Malaysia.
The highlights of the meeting include plenary lectures, symposia and workshops that will cater to a wide ranging audience from novices to experts. Our panel of experts shall inform of the best practices in airway management and provide in depth insights into airway issues that are also specific to our region.
We can look forward to many innovations and research by the wide community of researchers, both within the region and internationally. There will be ample opportunities for invigorating and rigorous academic discussions.
This will be a wonderful time for all of us to meet in person post pandemic, enjoy renewing friendships and forging new collaborations amidst the beautiful nature and hospitality that Sarawak offers.
