MUHAMMAD MAAYA is an Associate Professor, Consultant Anaesthesiologist as well as the current head of the Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care, Faculty of Medicine and Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur.  His special interests are difficult airway management and total intravenous anaesthesia. He is also a committee member College of Anaesthesiologist, Malaysia, section editor for the Malaysian Journal of Anaesthesiology and training faculty member of American Heart Association International Training Centre, UKM.
