FORCE MAJEURE
The organisers of RAM 2026 shall not be liable for any delay, modification, postponement, or cancellation of the Event arising from circumstances beyond their reasonable control ("Force Majeure").
Force Majeure includes, without limitation: war, terrorism, civil unrest or military action; natural disasters (including earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, and severe weather events); governmental or regulatory actions or restrictions; infectious disease outbreaks (including COVID-19, SARS, and MERS); visa refusals or delays; explosions; transport disruptions; airline insolvency; and any other event beyond the organisers' reasonable control.
For the avoidance of doubt, insufficient in-person attendance rendering the Event commercially or operationally unviable shall also constitute Force Majeure.
If the Event cannot be held in person due to Force Majeure, the organisers reserve the right to convert the Event to a fully virtual format or otherwise modify the format, programme, or delivery of the Event as deemed necessary. The organisers shall use reasonable endeavours to deliver the Event in a manner that is safe, practicable, and consistent with its objectives.
In such circumstances, all confirmed registrations shall remain valid for the revised format of the Event.
REFUNDS AND FINANCIAL LIABILITY
In the event of cancellation, postponement, or conversion to a virtual format due to Force Majeure, the organisers shall not be liable for any losses, damages, costs, or expenses incurred by delegates, including but not limited to travel or accommodation expenses.
Where applicable, the organisers may, at their sole discretion, provide a partial refund of registration fees, subject to deductions for costs and expenses already incurred in connection with the Event. No guarantee of a full refund is provided.
Any approved refunds shall be processed within two months following the conclusion of the Event.

Dr Frederick Koh is a Consultant in the Department of Colorectal Surgery at Sengkang General Hospital and serves as Principal Investigator of the SKH Musculoskeletal Regenerative Laboratories. He also leads the SingHealth Duke-NUS Muscle Health Programme, reflecting his commitment to translational medicine and innovation in surgical care.
His clinical interests span colorectal surgical oncology, surgical nutrition, prehabilitation, and acute care surgery. Deeply invested in Academic Surgery, Dr Koh actively contributes to both clinical and basic science research in colorectal surgery, sarcopenia, and artificial intelligence in endoscopy.
He holds a PhD in Clinical and Translational Sciences, with his research focused on the impact of sarcopenia on surgical outcomes. Mr Ernest Wong Kok Wah

Mr Ernest Wong Kok Wah is a Senior Dietitian at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, with a decade of clinical nutrition experience specializing in critical care and infectious diseases. As a member of the Intensive Care Unit Council, he has contributed to the development of nutrition care protocols for critically ill patients.
He holds a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics (First Class Honours) from Monash University and a Master of Science (Infectious Disease) from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, University of London. His research portfolio includes significant contributions to the understanding of nutrition support in critically ill and malnourished patients, particularly those affected by COVID-19, with co-authorship in several inter-hospital collaborative studies published in peer-reviewed journals.
Mr Ernest has also conducted research auditing the nutritional status of inpatient tuberculosis patients, with findings presented at a regional infectious diseases conference. Prof Dong Woo Shin, M.D.

Prof. Dong Woo Shin graduated from the College of Medicine at Hanyang University, Seoul, Korea, in 1990. Following his military service and early involvement in social work with the news media of young doctors, he completed his surgical residency training at Severance Hospital, Yonsei University, from 1994 to 1997. He subsequently served as an Instructor in the Department of Surgery at Severance Hospital before joining Jesaeng Hospital of Bundang as a Staff Surgeon from 2000 to 2011.
Since 2012, he has been a Professor of Surgery at Dongtan Sacred Heart Hospital, Hallym University. Prof. Shin holds several leadership appointments, including Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Korean Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition, Executive Director of the Korean Society for Surgical Metabolism and Nutrition, and a Committee Member for the Korean Surgical Society's Medical Practice Review. He also previously served as Director of Insurance Policy for the Korean Gastric Cancer Society.

Dr. Daruneewan Warodomwichit is a physician and academic leader specializing in clinical nutrition. She received her Doctor of Medicine from Prince of Songkla University and holds board certifications in both Internal Medicine and Clinical Nutrition. With advanced training in nutrigenomics from the Jean Mayer USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging at Tufts University, USA, Dr. Warodomwichit is at the forefront of personalized nutrition research and practice.
She currently serves as the Director of the Home Parenteral Healthcare Unit and Deputy Head of the Department of Medicine at Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University. In addition, she plays a key role in academic development as a leading figure in the university's M.Sc. and Ph.D. postgraduate programs in Nutrition.
Dr. Warodomwichit is the President of the Society of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition of Thailand. Dr Daphnee Lovesley, PhD, RD

Dr. Daphnee Lovesley is a highly respected Registered Clinical Dietitian with over 28 years of experience in clinical nutrition. She currently serves as the Director of the Apollo Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics Internship Program (ACNDIP) and was instrumental in establishing the Nutrition Steering Committee at Apollo Hospitals.
She holds a PhD in Clinical Nutrition with a specialization in liver transplant nutrition and has completed the Professional Diploma in Clinical Research (PDCR). Deeply committed to academic excellence, Dr. Daphnee is a Board of Studies member in Nutrition at institutions such as Women's Christian College, Manipal University, and Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science & Higher Education for Women, Coimbatore.
A strong advocate for advancing clinical nutrition on a global stage, Dr. Daphnee serves as the General Secretary of the Indian PEN Society (ISPEN) and is an active member of leading international bodies including ASPEN and ESPEN. Dr. Chue Koy Min is a Consultant Upper Gastrointestinal and Bariatric Surgeon at Sengkang General Hospital and a Clinical Assistant Professor at Duke-NUS Medical School. He graduated with honours from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore, in 2014, earning several accolades including the Oliveiro Memorial Gold Medal and the Tan Choon Kim Book Prize.
Dr. Chue obtained his Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2015 and Master of Medicine (Surgery) in 2018. He also completed a Master of Science in Surgical Sciences with distinction from the University of Edinburgh in 2017. In 2021, he became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (General Surgery) and was awarded the College of Surgeons Gold Medal for his outstanding performance in the fellowship examinations. He subsequently earned the Fellowship of the European Board of Surgery in Minimally Invasive Surgery (FEBMIS) in 2022, receiving the Top-Class Award for being the best-performing candidate.
His clinical and research interests lie in bariatric and metabolic surgery, minimally invasive surgery, and malignant esophagogastric disorders. He has been awarded multiple research grants including the SingHealth Surgery ACP Budding Researcher Grant, SingHealth Duke-NUS Regenerative Medicine and Cell Therapy Grant, and the National Medical Research Council Research Training Fellowship.
In 2023, he received the prestigious Toh Kian Chui PhD Research Scholarship and is currently pursuing a PhD at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Nanyang Technological University, focusing on how the gut metagenome and metabolome influence bariatric surgery outcomes.

Dr Charles Lew, PhD

Dr. Charles Lew is a Senior Principal Dietitian at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital (NTFGH), where he also co-chairs the Allied Health Research Panel and leads the Nutrition Support Service in the Intensive Care Unit. He holds a PhD from Flinders University, Australia.
In addition to his clinical role, Dr. Lew is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Dietetics and Nutrition Programme at the Singapore Institute of Technology. He serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (JPEN) and is a member of the international Critical Care Nutrition research group, contributing to global trials and systematic reviews focused on nutrition in critically ill patients.
Dr. Lew has authored over 40 peer-reviewed publications in leading journals such as CHEST, Critical Care Medicine, Clinical Nutrition, and JPEN. He is also the lead author of the Malnutrition Chapter in the 22nd edition of Harrison's Principles of Internal Medicine.

Prof Ayano Nagano, PhD, RN

Dr. Ayano Nagano is a distinguished Certified Clinical Nutrition Therapy Specialist and dysphagia care expert, with extensive experience in nutrition, sarcopenia, and rehabilitation. She holds an LLL Diploma, serves as an LLL teacher, and is a board member of the Japanese Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (JSPEN).
With 18 years of clinical experience as a nurse in an acute care hospital, Dr. Nagano has been actively involved in research and education on dysphagia management and nutritional support. Since 2025, she has transitioned to an independent career as a freelance nurse, focusing on multidisciplinary team-building, education, and consultation services for hospitals and care facilities.

Dr Abdolreza Norouzy, MD, PGDip (Nutrition), PhD

Dr. Abdolreza Norouzy is a Professor of Clinical Nutrition at the Iran University of Medical Sciences. He earned his medical degree from Mashhad University of Medical Sciences in 1998 and completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Nutrition at King's College London in 2000. He went on to obtain his PhD in Nutrition from King's College London in 2003. Following this, Dr. Norouzy pursued his specialty training in General Internal Medicine in Norwich and Leicester, United Kingdom, which he completed in 2008.
Dr. Norouzy is a founding member and the current President of the Iranian Society for Clinical Nutrition. He also served as the Chair of the Asian Clinical Nutrition Association (PENSA) from 2015 to 2016. His research focuses on nutritional support in critically ill patients and humanitarian crisis settings.
A prolific academic, Dr. Norouzy has authored five authoritative books in the field of nutrition and published more than 105 peer-reviewed articles. His Scopus H-index stands at 21, reflecting his significant contributions to clinical nutrition research in the region and beyond.
