He obtained his MBBS in 2007 and Master of Emergency Medicine in 2014 at University of Malaya (UM). He is a senior lecturer in Emergency Medicine, Faculty of Medicine University of Malaya and consultant emergency physician in Department of Emergency Medicine, University Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC).
He is the current Head of Department of Emergency Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, University of Malaya and University Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC) and chairman for Resuscitation Committee UMMC.
He also the council member of College of Emergency Physicians (CEP) Academy of Medicine of Malaysia (AMM) 2025-2027, UM representative for Specialty Conjoint Committee for Emergency
Medicine (SCCEM) and member of Specialty Subcommittee Evaluation for Emergency Medicine, Malaysia Medical Council (MMC) 2026-2028.
He has special interest in Safe Emergency Airway Education & Management and life member of Clinical Airway Skill Training in Emergency Room (castER) of Malaysia.
